PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Those at the Top of the Mountain Didn't Fall

Category: Motivation

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: Camera, Construction Paper

Description:

I built this board after completing a 23 mile hike in the Washington State Enchantments Zone. I wanted a bulletin board that would motivate my students and could remain up all year.

While on my hike I took a photo of Aasgard pass (7,841 feet), a pass I hiked up. I printed the photo at a local printing store to a 20 x 30 and using a cricut machine to create the words, created the board.

You can pick your favorite mountain, or even find one (with permission to download of course) online to print. A die-cut machine for the words or printing the words in word would work as well. The board was very easy to make; and the motivation it has provided has been wonderful.
