PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Picture Yourself Participating in PE

Category: Beginning of School

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: pictures of students, colored paper, die cut cameras, die cut letters

Description:

Not knowing what to do with all of the pictures I had taken of the students playing, participating in special events like Field Day and JRFH, I decided to use the pictures for a bulletin board in September for the beginning of school. Kids love seeing themselves and it showcased some of the activities we would be doing during the school year. It could also be put up at the end of the year as a culmination of all the fun they had in physical education. I used photos that I had taken throughout the year and printed them out on a photo printer. I put them on bright colored paper to have a framed effect. Some pictures were put behind the cutout of the camera die cut. The kids loved to come in and look at their friends and see if they could find themselves.

This is too cool and you are right about all of those pictures that kids like to see but are sitting in albums and in my desk drawer. Great idea and I heading to the resource center to get started and plan on adding pictures as we go. Be blessed. Mark
