Bulletin Board Ideas for Physical Education

     

Title of Bulletin Board: Real Food or Junk Food

Description:

I divided the bulletin board in half. On the Real Food side, I put pictures of healthy food with a sign reading grown in nature. I labeled the ingredients of a few foods, which essentially was the food itself like an apple. On the other side, I labeled it Junk Food. I put pictures of junk food. I found ingredients lists that were quite long and highlighted the complicated words and wrote "what's that?" I found nutrition labels with a lot of fat and sugar. I found on clip art a picture of candy with all the weird food additives next to the candy. I am trying to get the kids to think about what they are eating and what is actually in their food.
