Description:
The main message for this board is teamwork, and by using the acronym for TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) this shows the students that together we can get more accomplished than if we were to try on our own. Since in physical education we see all of the students, I thought it would be a neat idea to unite all the classes in the school and show the students that together we make one big team. For this bulletin board, I mainly used cut out letters and foam sports shapes. You can cut out the letters yourself, or buy ones already made. My school has a machine provided for the teachers, so I used that. You can find the foam sports shapes at a crafts store or print out templates from online. In the middle of each sport shape I wrote the classroom teacher’s name. For the “TEAM” acronym, I highlighted the word “TEAM” by adding a second color behind the letters. Since my bulletin board was so wide, I had extra space and decided to add the phrases “work together” and “have fun” but you can put any phrase you’d like on yours! The students love to see their teacher’s name and which sport shape I gave each class! I like the idea of them starting to look at the school as a whole instead of a group of fourth graders and third graders, etc.
