Description:

The bulletin board wording "Sunshine = Fun Time" challenges students to get out and be active during the spring and summer season. Activities such as our walking club, jump roping, hop scotch, skateboarding, water activities and team sports are pictured suggestions for staying active. The benefits listed are improving self-image, weight management, and energy level. Also noted are Reduce Risks of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and chronic illness. The above satisfies the SOL's for the importance of an Active Physical Lifestyle, H3.1, 3.3, H4.4, 4.3/4.5, and H5.2, 5.3/5.6 as well as expressing a willingness to be fit.
