Description:

The words are a list of movement verb words that I use in my physical education classes. I wanted the students to see the words and I created an action picture using clip-art to help describe the movement that goes with the word. When I chose the pictures, I tried to pick different activities and sports that I knew most children might like.

Additional Information:

When the students are waiting to come into class, the teacher can review some of the verbs with their students. Letter recognition, pronunciation and spelling are further developed just outside of the gym, and it is also a way to remind the students of the movements that I might use for their warm-up.
