Title of Bulletin Board: Ski New Hampshire Category: Outdoor Sports Suggested Grade Level: 3-5 Materials: Paper Description: In NH there is a ski program that I do with the kids every year. It is a group project between PE, Art, Health, Music, and Library. If the students complete a "skiing" activity in each class, they will receive a book filled with free ski passes to every mountain in the state of NH. http://www.skinh.com/4th-and-5th-grade-programs/ I had students draw in proper dress needed to ski or snowboard on a figure to be put on the ski slope. Art had the students do 3D figures. Health did safety pamphlets on skiing. Library did ski books. Music did winter songs.
Additional Information:
Some students came back saying their parents cant take them skiing.I made a Ski Donation box, where students could donate their ski books to other students to give them an opportunity to experience some winter fun. Its a good activity for the winter season of giving.
