Title of Bulletin Board: Don't be a Turkey

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: Blue bulletin board paper, large paper bag for turkey, sandwich bag for turkey's head, newspaper to stuff the head & turkey's body, pictures of healthy food, fall pictures leaf boarder

Description:

I created this board for my elementary school students during Thanksgiving time. When they enter and exit the PE area they can read this board and be reminded to choose healthy foods during the holidays. They love that the turkey is wearing sneakers and they like to make up stories (each of the feathers) about how the turkey will exercise after he eats.
