Title of Bulletin Board: Food Guide Pyramid

Category: Nutrition

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Paper, cut out letters, stapler, boarder, laminated paper, cardboard paper, poster board

Description:

I was doing a lesson on nutrition and the food guide pyramid so it was a perfect time to make a bulletin board. I used it as a game where the students had to place the matching food catagories with the serving sizes. In the middle of the board there is a food guide pyramid with different examples of food inside of it. There are arrows pointing to the different labeled food groups as well. On the left side are directions for the students to follow and at the bottom right are the game pieces as well as the core content and national standars. On the bottom left are my sources used.
