Title of Bulletin Board: Bicycle Safety - Bicicleta de Seguridad

Suggested Grade Level: k-8

Materials: Clip Art, stencils for letters, paper, donated material from bike shop (maps, posters)

Description:

This was built to supplement the bicycle safety unit. The board describes the road signs, rules of the road, how to fit a helmet, the ABC's checklist (Air, Brakes, Chain) and a map of the local bike trails. The purpose was to make the students aware of what they need to do before, during and after riding a bike.

Additional Information:

Spanish was integrated into the board by putting the spanish word or phrase next to the english word or phrase.
