Description:

This bulletin board is located just outside the gym doors. They will see the board every time they come to class. The purpose for this bulletin board is for the students to learn the importance of their contribution to PE class. Each student is important! It is focused on character education and setting goals.
In the beginning weeks of school I will have short discussions with the PE classes about qualities they are wanting to express in PE for grades 1-3. I will talk about setting goals with grades 4,5. After this is done, the 1-3 grade students will write their qualities on the back of their star on the bulletin board.The 4,5 grades will write a goal or 2 for their year on the back of their star. I will have the students check the stars periodically throughout the year and assess. They can make changes or additions. This bulletin board will remain up all year.
