Title of Bulletin Board: Choose To Move

Category: Fitness

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: Bullintin board paper, pictures of physical activity, letters.

Description:

The bulletin board was designed to let the students see that there are all kinds of things we can do to stay fit and get moving. It comes in many shapes and forms. I cut photos out of old magizines and made a collage. I then just cut out a heart to reinforce how important it is to your heart.

I love the visual aspect of this bulletin. It’s stimulating to visual learners and promotes positivity to the overall classroom environment. Kids are bombarded daily by violent and sexual images by way of commercials, billboards, etc., that the contrast of this bulletin in their classroom is refreshing to the senses.
