I talk to my students all the time about what our goal for class is and how we're going to accomplish it. This bulletin board was created to give the students a visual of what it takes to reach the goals, short term and long term, that they set for themselves. The first two steps are setting your goal and planning out your next steps to accomplishing it. Once your plan is set then they have to put it into action and stick by it. The emphasis is that if they set a goal, plan their work and work their plan then they're putting themselves in a good position to accomplishing their goal.
