The bulletin board contains basic information about communication skills. The definition of communication is stated as well as the definitions for verbal and non-verbal communication. Also, listed are some examples for verbal and non-verbal communication that the students can relate too. The last thing on the board is some ways to put the skills into action at home, in the community, and at school. The pictures are added for more description of each example. I put together this bulletin board because it was a project for one of my classes. I chose communication skills because that is something that students in middle school should start developing. They should start learning how to communicate with people they may not be familiar with as well as effectively communicating with their close peers. The purpose of this bulletin board was to reach 6th grade students and give them some useful skills for communication.
