Title of Bulletin Board: What is a healthy Snack

Materials: bulletin board paper, diecut letters, border, pictures, and poster

Description:

This bulletin board was created to help students identify what a healthy snack is. As a border, I had students collect healthy snack wrappers and post them up on the bulletin board. I also had a poster on the bulletin board that identified healthy foods from each food group. The poster also provides information about a food label such as the first 3 ingredients listed on a food label are the main 3 ingredients of the food item. It also provides information on portions, what to eat more of, and what to eat less of when snacking. This bulletin board was placed outside of the cafeteria.
