Title of Bulletin Board: You have one body, treat it gingerly!

Suggested Grade Level: 6-8

Materials: Di-cut letters "You have one body, treat it gingerly!", "Drugs kill dreams", ginger bread man (blown up), major organs, string, info on drugs, how to say no, and where to go for help

Description:

This bulletin board represents which drugs effect which organs. I used a ginger bread man because it went well with the title. Staple string from each organ with a list of drugs that effect that organ (you can color code the drugs ex. all tobacco is green). Have tips on how to say NO (S.T.O.P.S.) and who the children can talk to for help. There could be many variations to this board. Hopefully, the students will read it and realize how badly drugs can effect your body.
