Materials: Enough paper to cover your background of your bulletboard, cut outs of hands to make your border, pictures of physical activity, letters to spell out the title

Description:

The board was built to show students that physical activity is not just sports. There are pictures of kids sledding, skating, jump roping, skate boarding, swimming, etc. You can pick any kind of pictures that you would like. This board was also built to be a focal point in the hallway and have students look at it.

To start making the board, you need to select one color to cover the entire background of the bulletin board with. Then you need to cut out hands. For a different touch to this bulletin board you can have your students cut out their hands and have them each write their favorite physical activity. Have enough hands to cover the entire border of your bulletin board. Next you can add your letters to make the title and then attach your pictures that you selected. I chose to make some pictures 3-D. You can do this by rolling a strip of paper and making a link. Staple one side of the link to your bulletin board and the other side of the link to your picture.
