Description:

I created this bulletin board when I started my hockey unit with my students. The purpose of the board was to create a visual image of vocabulary words that the students would learn throughout the lesson. After our warm up and excersises we would meet around the board and introuduce new words each day. When we first started our unit we went over the hockey stick and puck. The next day I would pick a word we did the day before and ask the class what it was. It was a good way for the students to remember the words instead of handing them a sheet with the unit vocabulary words on it. It also caught there attention when they would walk by it with the different colors used.
