Bulletin Board Ideas for Physical Education

     

Title of Bulletin Board: Game Time

Materials: Bulletin board paper, white tape, student created games

Description:

I had my 6th grade students team up and create new games for class. I made index cards that listed a grade level and equipment for them to choose from. They had to create a game for the grade level chosen and they had to use the equipement listed, but could add additional equipment if necessary. The final product had to include the following:

Game Name
Team Name
Grade level for game
Equipment needed
Rules
Procedures
Diagram of set up

Once finished, I staped their final products into packets.

I made a bulletin board to look like our gym floor and stapeled the packets on it.

To make the background:

1. place yellow paper on board or wall
2. cut out blue paper to form 2 half circles and one whole circle with a cut-out center.
3. Place blue paper as a border around the yellow paper
4. place white paper or tape inside the blue border and as a midcourt line.
