PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Give Thanks for Great Health

Category: Seasons (Fall, Spring, etc.)

Suggested Grade Level: All

Materials: banner with "give thanks for great health", scissors, construction paper

Description:

"Give Thanks for Great Health" was a bulletin board suggestion posted on the NASPE website. I had the idea to make a turkey using all the students handprints. Students traced their handprint, wrote one healthy habit they were thankful for, and cut out their handprint. I used all the handprints of the all the students in our school to create the feathers of the turkey. The turkey body was added last. The students LOVE seeing how all the handprints created the turkey and enjoy trying to find their handprint.
