Title of Bulletin Board: Don't Forget to Wear Your Sneakers to PE!

Materials: Orange bulletin board paper, gold border, picture of Hokie bird (or a turkey if you're not a VT fan), orange construction paper, markers, opaque projector, hot glue gun

Description:

It's very difficult to get our students to remember their sneakers for PE. I knew that I needed a bulletin board that would get their attention. Many of our students (including myself) love Virginia Tech and some students prefer other schools. So, I used this school rivalry to get their attention. Whether it's positive or negative, they would notice it and hopefully remember to wear their sneakers!

I found a black and white photo of the Hokie bird on Google images. Then used an opaque projector to trace the picture and used markers to color the image. The art teacher helped to add the sneakers to the picture and to make sure it looked nice.
