PEC: Bulletin Boards for Physical Education

Title of Bulletin Board: Pocket Activities

Category: Class Management

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: popsicle sticks, pockets, and cutout letters

Description:

I created 12 different pockets, each with a label. For example: locomotor skills, animals, letters, etc. There are Popsicle sticks located inside each pocket. On each stick, there are both words and pictures that have to do with the title on the pocket. At any given time I can pick a Popsicle out of one of the themed pockets to have the students either get into groups, or perform different activities. There are times I even have students choose a stick. They love getting in front of the class!
