Title of Bulletin Board: Let's Have a Ball This Year!

Materials: big cut-outs of children playing sports, ball cut-outs, letters

Description:

To welcome back all of the students for a new school year I put this bulletin board in the hallway in front of the gym doors. I chose a different cut-out of a children playing a sport for each grade and made a large ball (or puck) for each homeroom class in that grade. Grades were grouped in order with all homerooms for the grade next to the child playing the sport. On top of this in big letters is - "Let's Have a Ball This Year." The students, teachers and families have enjoyed seeing this as we begin another school year.
