Description:

I constructed this bulletin board to motivate my students to be active at least sixty minutes a day. I found pictures on the Internet of kids being active. Examples included sports as well as lifestyle activities such as riding a bike, walking the dog, swimming and flying a kite. I also tried to include suggestions for activities that can be done at recess such as tetherball and swing sets. I had these pictures laminated. I tried to include and even number of boys, girls and families in the pictures. I found a border that also had pictures of children being active to carry the theme over to the entire board.
