Name of Best Practice: Bowling Field Trip

Rationale/Purpose of Event: To provide students the opportunity to go bowling at a bowling center.

Suggested Grade Level: K-8

Materials Needed: In school bowling sets.

Bowling Field Trip

During physical education class students are taught proper bowling techniques and score keeping procedures. The bowling unit is then culminated with a field trip to the local bowling center. The field trip is usually taken during the last few weeks of the school year.
