Younger students can do a step touch instead of grapevine.

Students could add a 1/4 turn on the last 4 jumps and repeat the dance to a different wall.

Assessment Ideas:

Observe students as they are dancing to see if they are following the cues and 8 count beat.

Ask a group of students about (5-6) at a time to lead the dance and say the cues out loud.

Ask students to feel their pulse both before and after the dance. They can be asked to share one benefit that dance has on the cardio-respiratory system.
