Title of Bulletin Board: Our Five Senses

Materials: Bulletin board paper, five senses poster, but out letters, cliparts

Description:

As part of my health curriculum, the five senses are taught to Kindergarten and 1st grade. This is an easy way to introduce the information as well as create an awareness. One cut-out was created and they were traced to have five bodies. On each body there is one of the five senses.

Additional Information:

This can be used in a health classroom or in the PE environment. In the health classroom, students can place one thing each sense can do [smell a flower, taste an apple, touch a bunny etc.] in order to assess their learning of the material.

This could be used as a PE activity with a bunch of cards of the difference types of senses and they would have to run and place them on the body where it belongs.
