Description:

I created this bulletin board for my health class at UNCW. It is based on the 8th grade objectives from the NCSCOS for relationships/bullying/gangs/appropriate behavior standard. The board features some punch-outs from a packet of materials I purchased at the teacher supply store in Wilmington. "Beyond Bullying", "What is Bullying?", "How Can I Prevent Bullying?", and "Do I Ever Bully?" are all part of the packet I bought and then the "Bully Brainstorm" idea web came along with it too but I filled out words/blurbs on what bullying is and what to do and just related words/ideas (gossip, don't stand back, stand up, be a friend, be open-minded to others, etc). I then printed out key words for the different forms of bullying, such as "physical", "social", "emotional", "high tech", and "homophobic". I then added a picture which I printed and then pasted a red sign over it, giving the message to not bully.
