Title of Bulletin Board: How far can you travel?

Category: Physical Education

Suggested Grade Level: K-2

Materials: A world map, and cut out letters

Description:

At the beginning of my locomotor skills unit we talk about all the different ways to travel around the gym and the world. This ignites their thinking skills and ideas as an introduction to skipping, galloping, hopping, walking, etc. in different pathways. After each skill is mastered in each class, we add the skill we mastered around the bulletin board as an accomplishment.
