Bulletin Board Ideas for Physical Education

Materials: Black Floor tape, black construction paper,silver sharpie, and Word processed labels

Description:

This bulletin board was created to increase motivation in PE. Students are able to write in their favorite song on the musical notes {a silver sharpie works best]. Every week, I review the songs and if appropriate for school, I add them to my ipod to play in PE.

Students are also able to bring in their Ipod and/or a cd, but it must be reviewed by me first. As a PE teacher, I am constantly playing music for students during games and activities. Students become more motivated when there is ownership to their environment. This integrates one of Gardner's multiple intelligences into PE in order to keep students interested and involved.
