Title of Bulletin Board: Skill Theme Ladder

Materials: Wrapping paper, colored construction paper, printed material, paper, scissors, rubber cement

Description:

Colors are purple and gold for school colors. I used a play on words with the title and used a ladder to represent the different steps of the skill themes. I had on the three steps: individual skills, combination of skills, and then gameplay. Around the outside of the board I have the 4 characteristics of skill themes. I added pictures of skill themes and the curriculum diamond/movement concept wheel. I built this for a class and chose the skill themes because I believe they are very important in the curriculum of a physical education program.
