Title of Bulletin Board: Flu Season

Category: Health

Suggested Grade Level: 9-12

Materials: Construction Paper, Halloween stickers and foam cutouts

Description:

Define and identify 2009-2010 Flu and H1N1 Flu, How one gets the Flu, How to protect oneself from getting the flu (e.g. vaccine, avoid crowded areas, etc.), differences in cold symtoms and flu symtoms. I developed this bulletin board because the school I work at is a boarding school with the potential of easy spread of infectection. Education and prevention is key in this environment.

Additional Information:

The bulletin board is quite large and there are 4 pieces of construction paper stapled together-so the project is somewhat divided into 4 different sub-catagories (identification, prevention, how one gets the flu, difference between cold and flu)
