Description:

I made this for my jogging unit. I figured out a formula to represent miles compared to actual steps on the pedometers for the entire class. Since we had just a short time, we couldn't use actual miles. Each class started from a different state capital and moved back to our city. The younger classes started from cities that were closer to home. I marked our progress with paper feet that I made with a die cut.

When I figured out the cities to use, I picked distances that were manageable if the whole class put forth a good effort.
