Title of Bulletin Board: Snowshoeing

Category: Outdoor Sports

Suggested Grade Level: 9-12

Materials: Poster board, Construction paper, ClipArt and Internet sources

Description:

This bulletin board was created for our snowshoeing unit. The different sections display information on the different types of snowshoes and what conditions are ideal for each style. There are four aspects highlighted on why snowshoeing is good for your health. There is also an example of how to get your target heart rate. Both students and teachers took interest to the information on the bulletin board.
