Title of Bulletin Board: Twas the Night Before Christmas

Category: Holiday

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: construction paper - paint - paper - yarn

Description:

This bulletin board was created to show the kids that the plump jolly old elf has changed his ways and he now exercises regularly. Using the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' as a guide, I changed some of the words to make it a more pleasing poem for the holiday season. I found a picture of a healthy Santa, enlarged it and painted it to go with the poem. As a border I used yarn and attached cut out construction paper light bulbs to it.

I love this idea and Santa is looking pretty fit! That makes it even more clutch! Just wondering though, did anyone mention that you were focusing on Christmas and no other holidays that fall in that same time?
