Description:

Every year our 4th grade students collect recylable materials with which they create their own physical education equipment. They use the equipment in their physical education classes then invite their parents to school for an evening of physical education games using equipment that they have made themselves. This bulletin board shows several examples of homemade equipment. Below each piece of equipment is a written description of how to "Make Something With Recycled Stuff!" Stapled to this bulletin board are milk jug scoop catchers, plastic 6-pack nets, tin can stilts, and a racket made with a coat hanger covered with pantyhose.
