Title of Bulletin Board: Did You Stack Up?

Materials: Bulletin board paper, letters, photos of students stacking cups, newspaper articles of our students stacking

Description:

On November 13,2008 our students participated in the Guinness World Records Day. Both of our local newspapers published an article on our students. In addition, we took pictures of our students speed stacking during physical education class. We put this bulletin board together using the newspaper articles and newpaper photos as well as using the photos we took. We added a three dimensional look to the board by using styrofoam cups in a 1-10-1 stack. On each of the cups we glued a picture of the speedstack logo. At the very top of the board, we listed the various stations we used that day: balanceboard and stack, shuttle run and stack, battlestack, pushups and stack, curlups and stack, upside down stack, superstacks, stacking for time, etc.

Additional Information:

Our students really enjoyed looking for themselves in the photos. In addition, we displayed this board for nearly a month with 450 students passing by each day and the styrofoam cups were never torn off...a miracle!
