Description:

I completed this bulletin board during my student teaching semester to educate students on various ideas for improvements on self, academics and community involvement for the new year. The title "New Year, New You. In 2009, What Will You Do?" gives students at the high school level five opportunities to make changes in his or her daily lives beginning with the new year. I chose the ideas for family, community, school, health and fitness to allow students to see that beneficial changes can be made in all areas of their lives for the new year. All materials can be purchased from a local dollar store. Displayed pictures can be obtained from clip art.

I finished the bulletin board with the title "It Is Time In 2009," to motivate and encourage students to act now on these ideas.
