Materials: Leaf garland, letters to spell out "Fall into Fitness", white paper turkey feathers, white paper turkey head, crayons, printed movements (7 ways to move in gym)

Description:

This Fall Into Fitness board was created to connect the holiday theme of Thanksgiving, while continuing education on fitness and movement. Each child in my lower grade classes was given a blank fitness turkey to create. They were able to color the turkey any color. Then they cut and glued the feathers printed with 7 different ways we move in the gym (walking, hopping, jumping, skipping, galloping jogging and running), one movement per feather.
