Each year at the beginning of the school year, we do a "FIELD DAY FLASHBACK" bulletin board to showcase pictures and events from the previous years' field day. Our theme this past year was the Olympics in honor of the 2008 Summer games in Beijing. This year the bulletin board not only showcased pictures of events and students, but also had olympic trivia questions and lots of other information about the Olympic Games. Our students love looking at all of the pictures. Assuming most schools hold their field days at the end of the year, there isn't time to put up a bulletin board. Doing this at the beginning of the year has been great and the kids love it!
