Title of Bulletin Board: Olympics

Category: Field Day

Suggested Grade Level: K-5

Materials: background paper, flags from countries, strips of paper from Olympic Rings colors, border, Ellison letters

Description:

I designed this bulletin board to promote my "Hillsdale Olympics" field day. The board is in the hallway by the main office for all to see. Each grade level was given a continent to choose a country to represent at our Olympics. I made little flags to put on the board. I also put what grade level had what continent hoping the children would see the connection. This board is very colorful and eye catching. It helped build excitment for our Olympics!

Additional Information:

The Olympic Rings were made from strips of paper folded in a circle then stapled to the board. The rings did take some effort but were worth it!

The flags I found on the internet and printed using a color printer. I laminated them to be used in 4 years when we do the Olympics again.
