Title of Bulletin Board: Math is Everywhere in PE Category: Common Core in PE Suggested Grade Level: 3-5 Materials: Pictures and captions Description: The board shows some of the many examples of Math in Phys. Ed. Pictures were taken of equipment (hula, balls, nets, etc.) and room markings (lines on floor, cinder block walls, etc.). We have labeled examples of acute and obtuse angles, intersecting lines, concentric circles, different shapes (spheres, cylinders, squares, rectangles, triangles, circles, cones, cubes, pentagons, rhombuses, and trapezoids). We also show examples of perimeter.
