Title of Bulletin Board: Spring into a Healthy Summer

Description:

I created this bulletin board for a high school locker room during my student teaching experience. I aimed for something to help the girls be motivated and knowledgeable of ways to help keep themselves safe and active in the upcoming summer season. I came up with the theme “Spring into Summer with Healthy Habits,” to help tie the two seasons together! I cut out pictures of only girls doing any type of activity that could be done with minimal resources or organization. I wanted to provide a variety of different activities so they could become active in, possible even areas they may not have thought of. I also included the new food guide pyramid, to help remind them what they should be doing for themselves nutrition-wise. I also included five healthy tips to abide by in the summer months. This board could be aimed at any gender or age, just need to adjust the content of the board!

This works great in the locker room, I often see girls reading it and discussing the healthy tips on the board or the new food guide pyramid!
