Description:

This bulletin board provides information during one of our fitness units and is something that can be used and constantly modified throughout the year. It provides facts regarding steps, calculating steps to miles, and calories. Students are challenged by trying to attain a certain number of steps by the end of each class. They learn that more steps are taken during aerobic activity, and less during muscle strength or endurance activities. Class goals can often be set and classes can be moved up steps similar to the picture of steps with feet on the bulletin board.
