Description:

To motivate students in their fundraising quest with JRFH, this bulletin board reflects upon last year's totals and ways to raise more this year! A thermometer of the past two year's totals is posted along with the goal mark for this year. In my school, every student that raises at least $10 gets the same prizes which are hung up so everyone can see what they get (playground ball, jump rope, tshirt, bookmark, sticker). The class that raises the most total get the banner which is hung up on the board along with earning an extra PE class. The student that raises the most gets an after school PE party and the medal that is hung on the board. Any class that raises over $1,000 gets to use a PE class to choose their own activities. If the whole school (2nd and 3rd grade) raises more than last year, I wear a dress to our school assembly (make up, heals, and all).
