Title of Bulletin Board: Run Around Fluvanna

Category: Running/Walking Clubs

Suggested Grade Level: 3-5

Materials: Paper, computer, laminator

Description:

Classes at Carysbrook Elementary participate in Run Around Fluvanna (our county) to begin their recess time. Pictured are two students showing their progress on the bulletin board. When a class reaches a new community, they "send" us a postcard from there. This program provides an opportunity for students to extend the benefits of exercise into the school week. Classes started at our school and will follow the map around the county and back to school.
