Description:

I decided to create a character education bulletin board to supplement my Physical Education class. My bulletin board is used similar to a word wall. Every day for class I pick two good character trait words to go over with the students. After going over the meaning of the words, I assess the students on how well they are demonstrating those traits throughout the lesson. I also have a final assessment at the end of the marking period to see which words the students can define and describe. It is a great tool to integrate new vocabulary to the students and help them understand what is takes to be good citizens in my class and in society as a whole.
