Title of Bulletin Board: Here Comes The Sun!

Materials: border, yellow background paper, letter cut-outs, sun cut-outs, cloud cut-outs, sharpie, scissors, stapler, printer

Description:

This board has a decorative border and a yellow background. The top of the board reads, “Here Comes the Sun” and the bottom reads “Stay Cool! Don’t Burn.” In between the lines, there are eight suns with a cloud. Each cloud has a tip written on it for protecting your skin from the sun.

I made the clouds by typing out each tip in a word document. I made the font large enough to see from 4-5 feet away and then printed them each out (landscape). Next, I drew a cloud with a sharpie around the words on the page and then cut around the sharpie to create a cloud.

This is a great bulletin board to post in your school for students and parents to see. It is a beautiful, creative way to provide some great tips for staying safe in the sun.
