Title of Bulletin Board: Love your heart so you can...do what you love!

Suggested Grade Level: k-2

Materials: Butcher block paper, die cut hearts, circulatory poster from AHA, activity printouts that you can google and print out.

Description:

With February here and an emphasis on "hearts", we wanted to portray the importance of staying active and how valuable taking care of your heart is as it pertains to the circulatory system and our students health. Prior to classes, we talk about "heart health", and what they do at home to stay active and have a healthy heart.
We will eventually let all students listen to their heartbeat, discuss more about the "heart", their pulse, and important attributes of maintaining a health heart at school, home, and in life!! Kids see the Valentines hearts and the body heart as cute correlations!! :)
