Bulletin Board Ideas for Physical Education

Description:

The bulletin board was designed to introduce our departments new unit. To make the board interactive for all students the board was designed to use three of the five senses. Sand paper was used to replicate the feel of sand on a beach volley ball court. An old net was used to replicate a net used in volleyball. Sound devices were used so that students can learn basic facts about volleyball as they walk past it through out the day. And the board was designed to be visual showing student three different skills with there names and what equipment is used to play.

Additional Information:

My high school is 100% special education and using a board such as fine give the various types of students the ability to find something they enjoy about the board. There are random arrows that inform students what sense to use. Also a clip board was created that holds the New York State PHYS ED, NASPE and Adapted Phys ED standards.
